Хотя эта позиция может косвенно поменяться, например при настройке под холодный впуск.

Вот его функционал:

4. Engine Size: If changed, enter your engine size by Liters or Cubic inches. If your motor has been stroked, be sure to enter the new displacement.

5. Compression Ratio: If changed (not stock compression), select the current compression ratio. If it hasn?t been changed, choose ?Stock?.

6. Aspiration Type: If changed, select the current aspiration type (turbo, supercharger,

nitrous or natural). 1999-04 Lightnings & 03-04 Cobra?s, you must select Roots blower if stock blower is installed.

7. Fuel System Type: The 1999-newer vehicle?s have a Returnless fuel system. If your fuel system has been converted to a return style fuel system, select Set for Return Style If it has not been converted, choose Stock.

8. Injector Size: If changed (not stock), select the current injector size that?s installed (also refer to step #12). If you?re still using the stock injectors, choose Stock.

9. Select Fuel Pump(s): If changed (not stock), select the current pump (or closest) type that?s installed. LPH = Liters per hour. GPH = Gallons per hour

10. Fuel Octane: Select the octane rating of the fuel that you will be using. Since this will alter ignition timing, you must select the proper fuel that is currently in your vehicle.

11. Returnless Fuel Pressure: This only applies to 1999-newer vehicles. When creating your initial (base) performance file, it is NOT recommended to change fuel pressure.

12. Mass Air Brand / Calibration: Select the type of Mass Air Flow meter that?s installed.

IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT THIS INFORMATION IS ENTERED CORRECTLY! If you?re using the stock meter, select stock (not Ford).

A. If the Mass Air Flow meter you have installed isn?t listed in the ?drop-down box?,

then: Your meter MUST be calibrated for the injector size you have. If it is,

then you MUST SELECT ?stock? for injector size and ?stock? for Mass Air Meter

Calibration (a Lightning meter installed on a Mustang with 42lb injectors is not a

a match).

B. If your meter is not calibrated for your injector size and is listed in the drop

down, then select the correct meter and correct injector size you have installed

and continue on with our software.

C. Get your meter calibrated for your injector size OR get a MAF meter that is

listed in our drop-down box and then continue with the Special Forces software.

12. Mass Air Location: If changed (not stock location), select whether the MAF is located as a draw through or blow through.

The next steps will vary depending on whether you have selected Natural, Centrifugal blower, Roots blower, Turbo or NOS for your Aspiration type during step 6.

If supercharger is selected as your vehicle?s aspiration type, you will be asked whether the vehicle was originally supercharged equipped. This is extremely important to answer correctly. You will also need to select your TOTAL boost pressure, whether you have an FMU installed and your intercooler type.

FMU: This stands for Fuel Management Unit. This unit will increase fuel pressure to the injectors while under boost conditions. These units are generally found on vehicles that were naturally aspirated and some kind of turbo, supercharger or nitrous has been added. FMU?s were generally included in a kit.

If Turbo is selected as your vehicle?s aspiration type, you will be asked whether the vehicle was originally supercharged equipped (turbocharger and supercharger rules apply the same). This is extremely important to answer correctly. You will also need to select your TOTAL boost pressure, whether you have an FMU installed and your intercooler type (see above note about FMU).

If Nitrous is selected as your vehicle?s aspiration type, you will be asked whether you have installed a WET or DRY system, the Nitrous HP level and Octane fuel being used.

13. Intercooler type: Small ? aprox 14? x 14?

Medium ? aprox 20? x 20? Large ? 20? or larger

14. Headers: If changed, select the length of headers that?s installed.

15. H/X Pipe: Select whether you have installed an x/h-pipe and whether your catalytic converters have been removed as a result of the installation.

16. Rear O2?s Present: Select whether your rear oxygen sensors are currently installed or not.

17. Cat-back Installed: If changed, select whether you have an aftermarket cat-back exhaust system installed or factory exhaust is installed.

18. Shifting: If your vehicle was originally equipped with an automatic transmission from 1996-2004 (05-06 Mustang & 05-06 F-150 currently not supported), you can use this feature. If your vehicle was not originally equipped with an automatic transmission, this feature will not work for your vehicle but you can continue improving your engine performance.

19. Firmness: You can select the shift firmness you would like for each shift point (1-2, 2-3 and 3-4). This is only available for vehicles equipped with electronic controlled transmissions.

20. Shift points: You can choose to set your shift points by MPH or by RPM?s.

RPM?S: Each setting will increase your shift point by that amount of rpm?s

(example: by selecting 100, you will raise your shift point 100 rpm?s over

stock). MPH: Each setting will increase (or decrease) your shift point by that amount of

mph (example: by selecting 2, you will raise your shift point by 2 mph over

stock).

21. 3rd Gear Lock: This feature is ONLY to be used for dyno testing automatic transmission vehicles. By selecting this, you will lock the transmission in 3rd gear so you will be able to perform a clean dyno run. These files will be saved with the word DYNO at the beginning (example: DYNO_MyFile.pcm). You MUST REMEMBER after performing your dyno tests, you need to program the correct performance file into the vehicle to ?unlock? 3rd gear. Failure to do so, will result in damaging your transmission.

22. Rev Limiter (over stock): This will allow you to raise your rev limiter above the factory set rev limiter. WARNING: You are responsible that your engine is equipped to handle the increase in RPM?s.. Failure to do so can result in damage to your vehicle and/or personal injury.

23. Speed limiter: This will allow you to raise your speed limiter above the factory set speed limiter. WARNING: You are responsible for ensuring that your vehicle is equipped

with the proper speed rated tires. Failure to do so can result in damage to your vehicle and/or personal injury.

24. Desired Idle Speed: This allows you to select the idle rpm. These changes will be added to your stock idle speed (example: If you select 200, this will raise the idle 200 rpms over the stock idle setting).

25. Tire Height (inches): If changed, select your installed tire height (from pavement to top of tire). These changes will only take effect with 1999-newer vehicles.

26. Gear Ratio: If changed, select the new gear ratio installed. These changes will only take effect with 1999-newer vehicles.

27. Passive Anti Theft: This will allow you disable the Passive Anti Theft System (PATS). For motors/computers transplanted into non-original bodies, you may need to disable the PATS.

28. Electric Cooling Fans: This allows you to set the temperature that you want the fans to come on. The fan shut off temperatures will automatically be set by the Special Forces software.

29. Traction Control: If you vehicle is equipped with traction control, you can disable it.

30. EGR: If your vehicle?s EGR has been removed, you can turn off the SES light.

Созвонился с мускулистами - они подтвердили, что, хоть эта фича напрямую и не настраивается, но зашита в состав других настроек... Посоветовали связаться с ними, когда прибор будет в руках и подключен к мотору... Чувствую, на мобильный потрачу столько же, сколько и на калибратор

Созвонился с мускулистами - они подтвердили, что, хоть эта фича напрямую и не настраивается, но зашита в состав других настроек... Посоветовали связаться с ними, когда прибор будет в руках и подключен к мотору... Чувствую, на мобильный потрачу столько же, сколько и на калибратор

Попробую снять некоторые вопросы. Если ваш прогроматор поставляется для правки мозга тюненого двигателя то в нём зашита функция правки МАФа. Опять же, правка эта имеет существенные ограничения и служит для более точной настройки с учётом показаний коротких и длинных кодов! На стоковой машине эта функция не нужна, т.к. любое её изменение ухудшит работу двигателя!!! Отклик заслонки ни один прогроматор не правит!!!! Только спец. средства. В сободной продаже их нет, и слава создателю! Если у вас выдался свободный вечер, то эта игрушка безопастно скрасит его не хуже сони плей стейшен!
